All you folks that knew Paul know we lost a good one today . A memorial ride will be set-up in a couple weeks or so and Blood Mountain / The Dragon will be on this ride as these was Paul's favorite place to ride. He suffers no more....Rest in peace my friend I'm going to miss rippin' the pegs off with you    :(

I've seen alot of people that thought they were cool , but then again Lord I've seen alot of fools.

While I never had enough time to have long conversations with Paul I was always met with a smiling face and a big handshake. He was one of the good ones and will be missed.

That news hits like a ton on my chest.

Joe, my deepest sympathies to you and those closest to Paul.  He was an inspiring example of a man and we're all poorer for his passing.

Thumper doesn't need our prayers anymore.  Rest in peace, Paul.  It was much too soon.  We'll meet again before too long.

RIP Paul.. I hope the roads up in heaven has some curves for you.

..

His last group ride was with the NGAMC to Brasstown Bald.

None of us had any idea that his finale was to be so sudden.

Many of us are left with unsaid words hanging on our lips.

Can you feel the wind in Heaven

Can you hear them call your name

Can you see the tears that fall

This world wont ever be the same

Can you feel the wind in Heaven

When we gather in our group

Can you hear the sound of silence

When we look where you once stood.

Can you feel the wind in Heaven

Can you hear the ladies cry

Can you feel our broken hearts

When we have to say goodbye

Can you feel the wind in Heaven

While the men hold back the tears

Leather clad and watery eyes

And know we'd rather have you here

I hope there is a Rider Heaven

And we will meet again someday

I hope to feel the wind in Heaven

And shake your hand again that day

Hold the ones you love close and speak with them.
