The price of gas has never been nessesarily directly proportional to to the price crude oil. EVER
As far as Joe Biden goes, IMHO he makes George Bush like the most intelligent president in the history of the union. Whata dufus. A testament to the stupidy of the general public. even if the obamanator was the greatest thing since sliced bread, we should have voted for the other guy just because Biden was on the ticket. To think, we put that man a breath away from being the most powerful man on the planet.

The "other guy" would have been Palin.  Sure ya wanna go there?  She definitely is hot and all...and looks great on the back of a bike, but she's not exactly a mental giant either.  Don't get me wrong here....there's no one that would like to see Obumer and Biden out of work more than me, but Palin as VP wouldn't have been that great of a choice either IMHO.
