friends in Franklin.....had a good visit.....I also noticed the vibration in left hand turns again...espceially on the new asphalt they had just laid down....I'm thinking it might be a bad wheel bearing on the front wheel??.... .....I need to get it checked out and fixed before these rides come up....

I thought of Thumper as I came off the mountain back down into GA.....he was riding with me.....

Hey Stanley...

I have the real honda bearing tool now, so if you have a bad bearing, we won't
have to pound it in with a socket this time...

The "attachments" replace the socket, as I remember I got the right attachment for
the rear bearings... hopefully for the Interstate, I think one of my rear bearings is different
than yours...

have to pound it in with a socket this time...

I googled a bearing replacement video on Youtube and saw a nice kit that had different sized collets? that would fit down into the bearing and used a slide hammer to pop them out......

I HOPE that back left bearing isn't bad already....the one you put in for me....I'm thinking it feels more like something in the front wheel?.......you have the right tools for the front bearings?.......I think i have a new set in my saddle bags.....I'll check later......

I'm going to change the oil and coolant myself......but I'd appreciate some help with the bearings and maybe flushing the brake and clutch fluids again.......

One issue that is worrisome also is the front brake lever has a "binding" in it.....I had replaced the OEM levers with the fancy chrome adjustable ones that were for a Wing?....I'm wondering if that bushing in there is worn or "ovaled" out??..........I had sprayed a little of that white lithium grease as a temp fix but noticed it again this last ride....


I also plan to take the back wheel off the next time I need a tire.....I'd like to inspect the splines, drive shaft, and etc, etc......I haven't seen it since the last time we had that wheel off......the guy who I buy the tires from supposedly knows how to do it "right"??.....so says another Valk buddy that is more mechanically inclined than me.......

Just let me know if or when you can help me out and I'll make sure you get all the Taco Stand food you can stand!!........

the manual, and all three installation tools specified on page 13-12 

Now all we have to do is figure out how to use them
