Anybody ever use triumph rocket 111 rear shocks on there Valk?I may be able to get some cheap and need to know.

I think one of the things people didn't like about rockets when they came out was
the shocks, and that they put different shocks on the rocket roadster...

I have a set on my 01 std...they seem to ride better than the oem shocks and I only paid 30 bucks for em.

Could be that Triumph got a load of defective shocks early on. I know there was a lot of talk about lousy shocks on the Rocket board I checked out. Might be worth doing some research on them. 30 bucks sure is the right price.

The stock Rocket shocks on my '07 standard Rocket sucked big time.  Installed the 440s and the difference is night and day positive.

The new Touring (not Tourer-different model) shocks are supposed to be an improvement over the Standard, Classic, and Tourer (pre-2010) model RIIIs, so maybe these were the shocks that would be a better upgrade.
