Ahhh... and a fitting handle...LOL.... we are hunkered down  ... hopefully the eye will go over us so we won't have the force of the winds for the whole time.  the eye is 70 miles wide.... that's BIG...

I think it's safe to assume we'll not be meeting Wednesday -- they say it could be two weeks before power is restored to much of Houston.

Well, first off, yes, we're up in Austin.  Yes, all three of us are safe and sound.  No, I have no idea how soggy my house is right now.  Surge level was supposedly ~11.5 feet, and my house is at 12.
As for the meetup:
Too many things are up in the air right now.  Let's postpone by one week.  We may postpone again, if things aren't looking better, but at least this will buy us some time.  So, until further notice, we'll be meeting at Woodrow's, on Sept 24 at 7 PM.  Stay tuned for further postponements.
