Well, due to a couple failed shoulder surgeries and a couple upcoming knee surgeries, I sold my baby, a beautiful red and y2k tourer to a fellow from Toronto this weekend. I've been a member of the VRCC for 10 years and I've laughed and cried with you guys over your adventures and misadventures. Thanks for having me- I'll miss you.  :-[

I never talked with you but I feel your pain.  I'm afraid my time will come all too soon.
Maybe there should be a thread here for those who are coming to the end of their ride. A place for retired riders, whether by choice or forced on them. It's a scary position to be in and we'll all need some support at that time.
May all your dreams be a never ending road with the wind in your face.

If your membership is denied just tell them you're my co-pilot.

Don't go!!! After being here for 10 years you've got stuff to contribute. Besides, unfortunately the fate that befell you is not uncommon. No one is going to throw you out. At the very least, you can "lurk" in the background and get your fill of frivolity that way! :cooldude:
The key thing is to wake up breathing! All the rest can be fixed. (Except Stupid - You can't fix that)

Thanks to all for your good wishes and- you're right!! I don't have to stop lurking and reading this board. Although I've never met most of you, I feel that after 10 years I've become a bother, a part of something. That's a hard feeling to let go of so, if you don't mind, I'll log on and catch up from time to time. All I'll ask in return is that, on your adventures, you catch a little extra wind for sidecarrick.  :cooldude:
