I suggest what they do at the autopsy/morgue..... run a gob of something pleasant smelling under your nose.

Women often have untold quantities of pleasant smelling goop in the bathroom, choose one.

That, or take up cigars.... big fat cigars.

You may also want a few bags of lime as well.

Dug my septic up by hand one x-mas. She was very full. It was a old farm house so it was just 2 concrete containers. Hand dipped it.

Just replaced all the galvanized and cast iron sewer lines in our house.
it was a full day job, but lucky for us the cast iron was just dripping in the basement, and so far no issues out of the house.

The pipe in my $hitting device went south this spring. I have my own system in the country. The pipe is only a couple a feet deep. I am lucky enought to have an old loader/backhoe dug a deep hole next to the pipe and let it fall in there while i replaced the pipe. In an hour we were back up and running.
And as i shifted into 5th I couldn't remember a thing she said.

Been there. Dug it out with a trenching spade.

I lost about 40 lbs that summer, a good 20 during the three weeks I worked on this project. The diet probably helped a little, but that damn hole surely took off a few pounds.

GREAT NEWS!!!!

no need to dig. 1st guy said the drain was collapsed because he couldn't get the cutter through.
2nd guy ran a camera through, not collapsed, just LOTSA roots. said the 1st guys cutter must have been dull or broken.
spent 3 hours cutting and now my drain is free!! :cooldude: :cooldude: :cooldude:
cost $350 but MUCH cheaper than digging.
now gotta call the 1st guy to try to get my money back. >:(
it's a good day in the neighborhood.
