Now if all you anti gunners think we should just give criminals a neck hug and a little pat on the head you just go ahead and have at it.
Me I kinda like the way this went down...... The End.

ATTABOY.  A couple thoughts - First - it was a DOLLAR STORE.  Obviously these guys weren't from the deep end of the gene pool.  Second - the good guy is a competition shooter - to me that means likely he may have used a 1911.  You don't want to get hit by a well-placed .45 JHP.

I'll even carry a 22 Auto,,,,,,,,cause a 22 auto is better than a 45 that is too heavy for my belt loops.

22 Long Rifle can kill you at 300 yards if you can hit the target.

Stopping power a little low unless both lungs hit, heart, or the low percentage head shot.

Still better than a stick or a pen knife.

ASk Bobby Kennedy, killed by SIr Han SIr Han, with a 22 Short in a revolver.

Reagan did not like the 22 round either.

Hinckley,,ALmost killed 2 and one was permanently injured by a head wound.

By the way Nancy Reagan wrote a letter to Hinckley and told him she forgave him, but PSed him that she thought Barrack was seeing Jody Foster

for conjugal visits. I cleaned it up a little
Great atricle Mark keep them coming.

The dollar stores in upstate new York are making big bucks since the economy turned south. In fact they are targets around for the criminals.

Same thought I had. Bet it was a .45. :cooldude:

A .22 on you beats the HELL out of a Earschplittenzeloudenboomer left behind because it's a hassle to carry.

I'll still take something with a little more punch if possible.

.38 is still a pretty good self defense round.

I got to get me one of those...
