Dragon Round-up group riding...

This is our 3rd ride like this and we are proud to say we have never had an accident

If you are looking to do some peg dragging and race on this ride you are on the wrong ride, we ride at a moderate speed and collect all the riders before we make any turns, so no one is left behind...
Just relax and ride your own ride we'll be there, enjoy the scenery and be careful in the turns, 95% of the road is gravel free, but there are some turns that have loose gravel along the edges so watch for it and be careful

When we stop for gas these are timed stops of 30 minutes from the time the last bike pulls in, this will give you plenty of time to make a rest stop, fuel if necessary and get a drink, etc.....when you hear a set of air horns go off, this means you have 10 minutes to finish whatever you're doing and be ready to ride, the 2nd blast indicates we're ready to pull out, this way there is no scrambling around because you weren't watching the ride leader...

The lead rider will have a cb and will be on channel 10, we monitor what's going on within the ride from folks who have radio's and the drag rider, who is (Michael Vaughn K C Rebel) and (Thom Mammoser ChromeDome) somewhere in the middle.

Be sure to have your bike in good running order when you arrive with good tires and brakes, make sure you are fueled up Saturday morning, kickstands up at 9:00 AM, also make sure to have a little bit of breakfast because we will not be arriving to the lunch buffet before 12 or so you can get a snack at the gas stops if you get hungry...

DINING OPTIONS Fri. and Sat. Night
In addition to the Mexican and Chinese restaurants, Las Bravos and Great Wall, located at the Jasper, IN, hotel, find a number of restaurants nearby. Schnitzelbank, less than a half mile away, and Grandy's Restaurant and Azura Grill & Café are also nearby.

Ride safe getting here and we'll see ya at the hotel Friday....

We are sooo ready for it. Be good to see everyone again. Good to hear theres a mexican rest at the hotel. 2 yrs ago it was just chineese. Chineese dont go well with blue ribbon.

Henry if I get to the maintenance on the rear wheel before then I will. The guy had the Honda dealer do all his maintenance and that is not very encouraging. Hope to get it on the work table this weekend.

I will be Riding the old Highway 41 to Murfreesboro TN then get on 231 all the way to Jasper. I will be hookin up with Smokin'joe, Wimp, and Lucky 13 (Gorden) around Nashville. We will no doubt hit some rain Friday, but Sat & Sun look like great riding days. Look forward to seeing all our Yankee Friends

Stay where you want, but the after ride B/S party is at the Day's Inn. A few of the riders attending have been known to party into the wee hours.
