just found out that the Indiana State Police is having a state wide DUI blitz that weekend so that means Jasper will most likely be getting a lot of attention because of the past  results in the area and the Post being in Jasper.  I'd hate to see one of the group get in trouble while making a run for more alcohol.

I wouldn't warn anyone.  After all these years on the ambulance, I have seen too much damage caused by these selfish bastards.  Drunk drivers/ridedrs deserve what they get.

My thoughts as well..... One threads says we do so well as a group and the other says you riders that are drinking beware....

You know some of us like to look after friends. If you dont like looking after your friends and keeping them safe and out of trouble thats your business. Dont go putting a guy down for passing along a little information that could help a few valk riders out. I dont like that people drink and drive either. Im sure this post was not meant for people that are not coming on the ride.  Just saying

I'm with Gavin. No one drinks and rides on the Ind rides. I think it was meant for back at the hotel if they run out and grab food, etc, after a few.

IMO......IMHO......YMMV. There I fixed it. I stand by what I Typed yall can stand by what yall typed. No apologies from me. In this modern world no one should need to be warned.

As for me - I can't remember the last time I got a buzz.  Of course I have CRS which drink aggravates...  Jokes aside, I MIGHT have one beer while out, limit is 2.  But almost all drinking for me is here on the ranch and I'm not leaving. So I might have 2 Markaritas which OK, that's enough to feel a buzz. Haven't been "drunk" in many years.  Don't like the feeling, so never drink much - not to mention, my daily medications indicate no alcohol (not gonna happen, but I will limit it) and it's not really compatible with A-fib, a chronic condition I've had since '98.

BTW, have you ever had my Markaritas, made with Patron & Grand Marnier?  WOW!
