what's the difference if obammer blabbers his mouth about the bin laden thing, or mark owens doing it?  sure, owens version is after the fact, but still, wouldn't you want to keep things quiet?  it does disgust me thinking obammer wants to take credit for getting bin laden, and from what we now know of history, clinton could have done the same thing before 9/11, saving thousands of lives in the process.....

Chances are "Mark Owens" wouldn't be telling a thing, if the Big O didn't step on his pecker and make a  production out of it and use it as political move or highlight.  "Owens" version is the truth rather than the fabricated facts O produced.  Besides, it wasn't the current President that took him down, it was the procedures and systems put in place prior to him, that let the intelligence community and U.S. Military do what they needed to do to rid us of Bin Laden.  O is quick to direct "blame" to the previous adminstration for adverse things that happen during his tenure rather than step up and take responsibility... but he sure is quick to step in and take the credit, even tho he had little to do with it.  O could have blamed the all BS on the democratic controlled houses..... but he was part of that system as well.... can't blame himself now can he?

I read Owens book.  There's very little if anything in there that could risk any operations going forward.  He mainly covers how they operate generally and how they did the UBL mission.  No specifics of upcoming missions or names that weren't changed.  Their M.O. is surely already known to the enemy. Interestingly, in their post mortem discussions between them, one commented, "You know, you just got that SOB re-elected, right?"  (I put in the "SOB", Owens was PC and omitted it but it was between the lines.) The SEALS were clearly pissed at the politicization of their mission, the leaks, and knew that was going to happen before it did.
