Large tarps....

There's a Harbor Freight Tools at Beltline and Plano Roads...just a few miles south of you...they will have lots of blue tarps.

Wizard bought plenty of tarps at Wally World this afternoon (so conveniently located across the street!!).  Just a question of getting them to Houston.  I don't really want to go down there before power is restored.  Without power, I don't have water.  And I won't even have my stove, since my propane tank was damaged, releasing about a 3 year supply of propane.

I don't even know when we can go home, aren't we supposed to be waiting for permission or something?

Hard to tell...you can try calling 211...that's supposed to be the evac info...but I've not seen anything on the news one way or the other about travel restrictions. Certianly traffic will suck on the mains into the area for the next few days

If one of your neighbors/friends has a key...and it's sunny tomorrow, you might ask them to check inside your house, maybe open the windows...get some air moving through it. If the roof leaked a lot, and the house is left closed without AC/cleanup/drying out, you'll get mold in a day or two and that's tough to recover from...

I don't have a generator or you'd be welcome to it.
