I really love the Valk, it fits me well being a big guy and there are too many things to like to list here.  If I had a supply of coffee or Diet Coke and Skoal, and of course lots of gasoline, I could go anywhere on it.  Mine is a 2000 standard with Honda hard saddlebags and a Harley fairing.  I bought it with 38K on the odometer.  Thanks to this site I was able to diassemble everything to have it painted (was bright yellow with hand painted characters on it) plus put it all back correctly.  Took two additional Cee Bailey windshields and fork deflctors to get everything just so, again I learned a lot on the site and thanks everyone who has contributed to it.  I check the site nearly daily and learn so much.  On a trip this summer from ND to the UP of Michigan I even got to experience my girl do the "hiccup", lost revs and backfired, then ran like a top the rest of the trip, this made my hair stand on end for about 20 miles thinking something was really wrong.  Has not done it again but I will be checking the electical connections soon.  I will probably be doing my own tire changing after I replaced the back tire to the tune of $478 at a shop.  They complained about how hard it was to change, even taking off one of the pipes to do it, I assumed everyone had seen Dag's video and knew it could be done without that hassle.  I should not assume people know things.  Anyway I am rambling, but thanks to everyone who has posted so much good info!
