ROTFLMAO !!  His friend tunes Hondas ??  He tuned that to the tune of several thousand dollars for a yard replacement..

Cousin of mine poured a coke bottle full of water through his AMC Gremlin engine while holding the throttle open at about 2000 rpm.  He said it would get all the carbon off of the valves.  Come to think of it a lot of crap did come out the exhaust.

That does work. My dad did that years ago when I was a kid. It does clean the combustion chambers. Just dont let the engine die and dont pour it in to fast. As a tech we had to do that with a GM stuff called "top engine cleaner" on a couple of engines years ago. Smokes like crazy. Got to do it outside though. Makes you see pink Elaphants. LOL...
