When Eric Holder found out about it, he discontinued it. We assigned an inspector general to do a thorough report that was just issued, confirming that, in fact, Eric Holder did not know about this, that he took prompt action and the people who did initiate this were held accountable.

But what I think is most important is recognizing that we've got a challenge in terms of weapons flowing south. And the strategy that was pursued, obviously, out of Arizona, was completely wrongheaded. Those folks who were responsible have been held accountable. The question now is how do we move forward with a strategy that will actually work.

just wanted to point out the lie (well one anyway)

If this was truly caused by the previous administration it would have been headline news every day for the past two years. Since it's Obama's screw up it's being ignored by most of the media.

What really needs to be discussed is the reason it happened. No way do I beleive it was to track down criminals. At the same time Obama's people were sending these weapons to Mexico Hilliary was in Mexico and the US trying to drum up support for gun control by claiming the problems in Mexico were caused by American gun shops.

They needed American guns in Mexico and they made sure they got them there. The Mexicans and Americans killed by these weapons were killed to further Obama's gun control policy.

If some of our LEO's hadn't had the balls to tell the public the truth about Obama's propaganda campaign he might well have seceded in compromising our 2'nd Amendment freedoms.

In spite of all the wins we've had in the past several years, if Obama gets to replace one or more of the Supreme Court judges who voted in favor of the "individual rights" reading of the 2'nd Amendment we will have lost. It may not happen till he is long out of office but an Obama appointed court will almost certainly cost us our 2n'd Amendment rights.
