The Aspens are peaking right now in the high country around 9,000 ft.  Beautiful day yesterday, rode 210 miles on the Front Range Twisties and took a few shots.  S.O. got hungry so we had to quit and go hit lunch on the Peak-to-Peak at Bob's Last Stop Saloon a few miles S. of Rollinsville.  Otherwise I would have got more shots with scenics.  Great food, outside seating in the patio/picnic area under the trees S of the building.  Don't sit in the Gazebo if the wind is west, they are having a problem with the septic system and you can smell it there.  So we moved to the picnic area, got great service from Christy.  The chow is just outstanding.  I had the Ribeye sandwich with frings.  Drinks were free for us as they got hammered so we had to wait longer tha usual - Christy felt bad and bought us drinks - coulda been hard drinks but we were riding so we stayed with the root beer.  Lotta bikers out, mostly HD's of course but everybody we talked to was in a great mood on a beautiful day.  No attitudes...  Saw a really great looking custom chopper parked by the door, shoulda took a photo.

This shot is about 9,000 ft on the East side of Squaw Pass.

These are on the West side of the pass, below Echo Lake, altitude about the same.

Just when the highway straightened out for a mile
And I was thinkin' I'd just cruise for a while
A fork in the road brought a new episode
Don't you know...

Conform, go crazy, or ride a motorcycle...
