I of course realize whether you are the prosecution or the defense you want to win. They proved he had drugs in his system-game over-do not pass go-do not collect any money at all-go straight to jail. There is no way in hell this dud needs to get off or get a light sentence. He needs to be made an example. Don't care about his child hood don't care about his trouble with women or men-he's over 21. Even if someone stood on his neck and force fed him drugs-not an excuse. Dang WI cagers!  Seems lately it is all too frequent occurrence of people NOT paying attention while driving more so than in years past.  For example, just this past Sunday I was cruising around and luckily took a side route wasting another 5-10 minutes is all but that might have saved my life???

Guessing about 5-10 minutes before I showed up at the same spot/driveway a car got rear ended by a 24 year old NOT paying attention.  If I would've been there 5-10 minutes sooner,  I would have been right there within minutes of when the accident took place and that car could have been ME on the cycle.  No one died as of yet, but medflight was called in because I'm sure the crash was over 45 mph rear ended into that car which flung the car into the other lane of traffic hitting a vehicle with 7 passengers in it of which several were infants and younger kids.

Just goes to show you to BE VERY AWARE of your surroundings at ALL times of which most of us unfortunately are not always.

If people are going down the road(notice i did NOT say driving)and they are texting-playing on the computer-stuffing their pie hole with food and drink-trying to get the kids to settle down-trying to have a sexual encounter-playing the guitar-taking pictures-playing cards-drag racing-showing their a$$-trying to see out of an extremely dirty windshield-talking on the phone-putting on makeup-you get the idea-they fer damn sure aint driving. At least once and generally more than once i've seen this chit from my high seat that i occupied for a lot of years. And i just KNOW i've missed a lot of examples. And YES it's getting worse. We could eliminate some of it JUST by enforcing the driving while impaired laws that are already on the books. But it's the mayors wife or girlfriend-he/she are young and you don't want to mess up their life-or they"know"people-the list goes on. I look in my weekly county paper and i am appalled at the repeat driving while impaired offenders. And the young ones that are dismissed for"lack"of evidence. We as a people appear to be creating our own problems AND letting people off with little more than a wrist slap. Big surprise that we are put in jepordy. Again-rant off-fer now. RIDE SAFE.
