An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The profe
ssor then said, "OK, we'll have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan."
All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A... After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little. The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.
As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else. All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.
Could it be explained any simpler than that?

I'm afraid every single one of them will vote !!

I'd like to see every teacher be brave enough to do the same in whatever class they teach.. Problem is, some teachers [too many] believe the same as the students..

There are NO professors who aren't bleeding heart liberal socialists.  Any lessons for their class will be cobbled up to support their Marxist ideology. 

I'm still trying to un-brainwash my liberal-educated daughter who graduated 10 years ago from her second of two liberal schools, is so far left of center that she couldn't see the middle with a Celestron telescope.

My son left college with a bunch of far-fetched idealistic notions also.  After getting stuck in a workforce for 2 years, in a underpayed and overtaxed job, he now questions the gaul of the masses of people he sees on his daily commute.  He now complains to me as to how it's unfair that so many people live as well (if not better) than he does, and live on government freebees.

His change of attitude came as the result of his own 'real world' observations.  He envisions a horrible prognosis for America, for himself and his future children, if major changes don't occur.

I feel that by first having a liberal view, then watching it disolve, he will have a more accurate view of which direction he wants his world to take.  He doesn't have to always believe the same way I do on issues, that's no problem.  I'm happy that thinks things through based on his owns senses, instead of beliving everything some of his professors fed him.

I predict if Bam Bam gets re-elected for another 4 years, the food lines will start in less than 9 months.   We will be worse off than any of the 3rd world countries.

I still say that is the reason they want to ban all weapons.

They are afraid they will be shot on sight if they don't for their antics, AND, how else do you think they will be able to lead us to the execution stations if we had guns, you know, the mass killings.      

At my age, I don't think I'll live to see this happen, but I'm still voting Republican just so as to cancel out my stupid assed oldest son, who was a hippie and I don't think he has ever recovered or saw the light..   Yeah, he lives in Governemnt housing and sets on his ass all day playing on his Government provided computer.       I'll not say what I was going to write cause I know Willow would have deleted it.
