Got a late start today and ended up the next to last bike on the ride!
Thagandy did a great job representing the DFW VRCC today! Not only did he ride he gave a speech! Thanks Randy! It was good to see Disco, Hollyday, Loud pipe Larry, Chauffer, Larry, Sidecar, Wanderer and I heard there where several others as well. My brain is still trying to warmup a little. Weather was nice with temperatures in the 50, cloudy and damp. If I remember correctly about $150,000 was raised. VRCC lost its first place and came in third this year! We just have to step it up and Git R Done!

When he says "Not only did he ride", he means I was the ONLY one who rode for the VRCC.  Hollyday and I were so lonely   :(  Baron was lined up with us, but had engine trouble when it was time to roll out.  Others were there, but weren't able to ride for health reasons.  Hopefully see more next year, it's gonna be at Texas Motor Speedway!

SideCar

Well, not the only one, but the only 2 wheeler.  Had a number of volunteers help put on the ride and we very much appreciate that help.  It was a little cool yesterday, but well worth braving the weather to help those kids. Big kudos to TJ for coming in just in time to make the ride.  We had riders from as far away as Wisconsin at the ride this year.  Anyone want to chime in with the news of where next year's ride will take place?

I wouldn't want to miss this ride! As part of the fundraiser are they offering laps on the track? Count me in

Thanks for riding and volunteering to be team captains!  You two were awesome!

I wish I could have ridden. Maybe next month's ride to Strawn.  We'll see.

The VRCC may not have been on the ride, but we were strongly present in the tent.

Thanks so much to all that participated which ever way you contributed! The continued support by a bunch of the usual Valkunteers (Valk Volunteers) is much appreciated.

Just to set the record straight, though LuckyLarry was not on a Valk, he did volunteer and ride too! Thanks for helping out again this year, LL!

Be sure Brittany knows we missed her, David. It was great meeting Lindsey.

It was very cool of John Clauder to come out last minute to entertain kids of all ages with his ballon art! Very talented artist for sure!

Frank, aka Spoiler, is moving back to the metromess right away! One of the guys that has held onto his Valk IS and made room for a Wing too.

We missed you Jean!
