The Valkyrie: Ride of the Valkries

OK I figured out how to hook my iphone into the IS Aux port on my phat gurl.  The group that I ride with (mostly HD's) always rib me about how quite my Hondas are and tell me I need different pipes (good heart ribbing, nothing serious).  I'd rather listen to music than pipes!  So that being said, I downloaded the "The Valkyrie: Ride of the Valkries" so the next time I go riding with the boys, I'll pull up to 'em with a little classical music playing just like in "Apocalypse Now!"

Same here, would rather listen to my tunes than exhaust note.

Keeping my stock I/S exhaust all stock since the stock Honda I/S speakers are lacking volume, but are so-so/adequate at best.

My idiot HD neighbor as I drove by put his hand to his ear so as to rev my engine going by.  I just cranked AC/DC back in black and let her rip.  I'll let him keep thinking loud pipes saves lives.

Not me, I'd rather listen to the exhaust tones. I love the sound of my 6X6.  Never understood the "music on motorcycles" thing. 
But "to each his own".

However, IMO, there is a limit.  I too ride with mostly HD guys and they all have excessively loud pipes. 

The wierd part is they wear earplugs!!

Must be "the small man syndrome"!!  You know, gotta get attention somehow.  I guess when you pay the exorbitant price for those bikes you want everybody in earshot to know about it!

try wearing ear plugs just once on a long ride,,,even with stock pipes,,just try it once,,,you can hear the radio better and after a days ride you wont feel like you have jet lag and you wont have the ringing in your ears,, try it, go ahead, i dare ya,,,,

Well... ok, but, I don't have any of that, even after a day or two on a long ride.
However I always wear a 3/4 helmet.

Anyway I have tried earplugs and do not like it. 

I guess it's what each individual wants out of the ride.
Personally I like the experience of the open road with all the sights, smells and sounds. To me that's just part of biking.
If I didn't want all this I'd just take the Trailblazer, roll up the windows, and turn on my radio.

But that's me and, again, to each his/her own.
