Sat through a safety meeting today...

We had our monthly corporate safety meeting today. One of the "accidents" they were discussing was an incident with one of our Illinois delivery drivers. He was injured during a robbery. It seems that he claims that he was "pistol whipped" when he refused to get on the ground during a robbery at a convenience store he was in buying a drink.  Well, I'm WAY smarter than that! I told them the driver is obviously lying! They all looked at me and said "What!?" I told them he HAS to be lying because there are laws that forbid handguns in Illinois!!!

Some found it amusing, some, but not all.
