"and it's a Honda, too"

 Came out of supermarket today and there was an old guy walking around my bike chhecking it out.  i walked up and engaged him in conversation and he was complimenting me on the bike.  he said he was 93 yo and had rode motorcycles all his life.  said mostly dirt bikes, some drag racing and was riding a dirt bike at 90 yo.  he said when he was 90 he was on his dirt bike and couldn't pick it up when he fell so decided to hang it up.  

 we talked a bit about the Valk, 6 cylinders, 6 carburetors etc.  talked about how reliable it was and recent trip i took.  and as he got in his car, he told me to be safe "and its a Honda too, those Harley Davidsons can't keep up with it."

 now that is some wisdom from a man of 93 years of experience.

I had the same thing happen to me today at walmart.A man about 80 was looking at my valk and we talked about it for a while. he used to ride competition many years ago and stopped after going down at 120 mph.He sure got a kick out of the valk.

Stopped at the store yesterday to get gas.  Filled up the bike and went inside.  Came back out and there was a fellow standing in front of my bike holding up his cell phone taking pictures of my bike. 

Said he'd never seen a bike like mine before and thought it pretty.

A number of years ago a couple guys stopped and took a look.. I overheard the older fella going on about how it was just another harley wannabe..
