I like Colin Powell, but I disagree with him on this issue. How can a smart man like Colin want four more years of what we have had and all the new changes we will see if Obama gets re-elected? Hopefully, it is not a racist thing! Anyway, he, like all of us has one vote.

Wasn't Colin Powell offered the chance to run in like 04 and turned it down.

I think he was a smart person on that offer.    He would have been walking into a deep dark nightmare, with no light at the end of the tunnel..

It was reported in multiple venues recently that Obama has 96% of the black vote.  If that is true, or even partly true - and that isn't racism - I don't know what is.  I'm suspicious when I see a registered opposite party member - eg Powell, a Republican - voting contrary to his registration but aligned with his race.  And disappointed - that is such a shallow basis for support for such a smart man.

Off the topic, but several years ago I had someone call me who said he was Colin Powell, order my Highlighter for his Valkyrie.  His phone number and address was in D.C. - but I didn't service the sale because I didn't believe him.  I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone - and won't sell to someone I believe is lying to me.  I'm sure any celebrity would have an assistant do the order, and hide the affiliation - to openly name-drop smacks to me of fraud.  I couldn't find anything about Powell and motorcycles.  I don't think I was wrong.  But if I was, it wouldn't be the first time. Or last.  If it WAS Powell - I'm guessing I'm not his favorite parts vendor...

100% of the black population could vote for Obama but it still only accounts for 12.6% of the entire US population according to the 2010 Census.  The problem is elsewhere. Did my early voting here in Texas this week.  Romney can't be any worse than our current administration...

General Powell was in the tank in the last election.
Thats when I thought he was not as advertised.
BTW I read an article that stated he's into classic Volvos.
