A Late But Heart Felt Thank you........

Due to a recent surgery I showed up to the Fall Color Ride in the Austin Powder Sponsored Ford F-150.
My surgery was Aug. 31st. and I knew early on that I would not be ready to ride when the time came. So I decided I would take my Grandson Ryan with me. This was a great choice as he had a huge time and is still talking about it.
A BIG Thank You to everyone who took out some time for Ryan. He told Maw Maw about all the ladies giving him candy and cookies to eat......And thanks everyone for giving him paper and things to toss in the fire.(Ithinkheisafirebug)

After 7 weeks of not working I went back this week......I pretty much just walked around and pointed at some things and said some words....

No I avoid all the quarries in the Charlotte/Rock Hill area like there is an out break of the black plague.........

Been here a year and few months.  I was amazed to find out about the granite quarry just across the road.  We only had gravel and claiche pits in the panhandle.
Kinda weird to have my pencils and stuff rumble sometimes when the blasts get away from them.

Ryan showed me a penny he had that looked like it had been run over by
a train... I think someone there gave it to him... he seemed to like it
a lot... putting pennies on the train track seems like such a long time
ago
