-CIA annex (not the consulate) is now under attack
-Woods urgently calls for reinforcements, specifically requesting AC-130s; request is denied

Specter AC-130 gunship was loitering above the fire fight at the Benghazi *mission, with one of the former Navy SEALs painting the opfors with a targeting laser from the roof, and the gunship was not permitted to fire on the al Qaeda nsurgents.
This could have saved the American mission.
