Don't say much anymore just kind of lurking.  Our lights came back on at 0430, Internet and cable now. I work for a utility so its 12 hour shifts, come home clear trees sleep 4 hours and back to work. Not much damage, so we are lucky. I hope all my friends in NJ and on the coast are ok.  Sandy turned out to be quite the bitch!.
Woops, I'm sorry.

Bonzo, it's the guys like you who are the glue that keeps everything together.

Jolly well done  :cooldude:

Thanks for the post, Bonzo, and thanks for your hard work. Rest while you can, you are making a difference and it matters.

Not seeing the news in a few days and having other things to do other than read the papers, I can not believe the devastation this storm wrought. Staten Island Brooklyn and Queens, coastal communities are devastated, total construction. Up north by me mostly tree damage. The tidal surge in the NYC area was the killer, literally. I am a well prepared guy, but if you lived by the coast there was nothing you could prepare for.
Pray for those who lost everything. Thank You to all the Utility Workers from all over who are coming into help us. Stay safe!
Woops, I'm sorry.
