How 'bout a picture of skinhead?

Friendsville, TN - Troy, MI

I can't draw nothing, so a picture is practical from me, but I do have a suggestion.

Get better shirts.    My Southern shirt I bought a few weeks/months ago, the neck is tearing out from the body of the shirt.   Like it was sewn too close to the edge.   1st time I wore it, I grabbed it behind my head and was pulling it off and I heard a zit.

Just a suggestion, NO I don't want it replaced.   If you are still getting your stuff from Cat Specialties, you might bump Mark and let him know.

Funny you mention that, I was thinking the same thing... Maybe him with a circle of Valkyrie riders encircling him with linked arms singing Kumbaya next to a campfire?

Never ask a geek 'Why?',just nod your head and slowly back away...

OZ: Sorry I don't own any of your shirts but I can relate about T shirt quality. After I retired, I worked for a screen printer for a while. The best shirts were Gildan Ultra and Hanes beefy T's. Do you offer them for your designs?

ptgb

Well, since you asked.... I think the dragon, medieval, sword, flames, "olde english" fonts, etc. have been done to death. I understand the "mythological" connection and all, but enough.

This is, by far, my favorite design that F6 Store has ever done:

The pistons and speedometer with the wings just says it all.

I think the designs should move more towards the performance/handiling aspect of the Valk. Also, the t-shirts should include more line drawings of the Valk variants themselves.

For example... a line drawing of the Interstate on an open road (maybe some mountains in the background), with my favorite tag-line... "Tour With Attitude... Valkyrie Interstate".

Feature more graphics of the engine itself, and the mechanicals of the machine.

One of my favorite designs has always been,

the design that was on the back of the Dragons Over The Smokies shirt from 2006.

A variation of that one would be good.

I have a lot of the original shirts dating back to 2001 or so.  How about that shot of the cut-away flat six engine that could say in an arch across the top "FLAT 6 FLAT OUT", with  a reverse arch underneath that says "NEED I SAY MORE?"  Verbiage is always subject to change but the engine shot would be awesome.  I can't attach the engine jpg here but am willing to e-mail it to you if you can't find it Oz.  Thanks.

I ran across some graphic once and made it better to come up with this for a homemade iron-on I made once:

* Disclaimer:  if anyone recognizes this, feel free to tell me where it's from.. but I still like mine better or I wouldn't have spent the time fixing it  :)

How about a something besides t-shirts. Like these sold at the Bike, Blues and BBQ in Arkansas, they are Dickie workshirts.

All I can say is look back on your past sales and see what sold the best.I would bet that it will be some of the more clean, simple, straight foreword designs! I am pushing 60 years old and just laugh when I see some of the psychedelic head banger type of art that some of these shirts have.

The vast majority of us are in the same boat. We ride a rock solid, clean looking motorcycle by choice, not some crotch rocket with 10 or 12 colors.  Seems to me that the shirts would sell better if they matched the bikes and their owners.

My two cents even though you did not pay for it

I have no tools for graphic design but.....,I did try to do a shirt on one of the "design your own" web sites

Idea was a dragon head and tail rising out of a herd of sheep, (Also though about a herd of pigs)
Caption to read: "Valkyrie: A beast like nothing else" (or something along that line)

My best work on the site was very lame, never did order one....Still like the idea....please run with it

How about just the Maidenhead. No text, no other image just a big maidenhead on the back and a small one on the left chest of a Pocket T or preferably a shop shirt. I'm also a bit tired of T-Shirts and really have no desire to buy any more. I would much prefer a shop shirt with pockets and a collar.

Just a thought,

Had a thought for one.

On the front
Imagine an outline of the upper 48 US states. (You could incorporate other countries on other shirts too for their markets)

Out of the mid section of that outline is a bold image of a Valkyrie. Orientation would be as if it is coming towards you, either head on or slightly at an angle, out of the outline.

In each corner of the US outline is an arrow pointing to it's respective corner.

Above the image is the word "Sure"
Below the image is "I'll race you to the corner"

On the Back
Same image on front except it is the rear of the Valkyrie.
Above the image "And Back"
Below the Valkyrie (smaller print) "Your view"

Mark,
Something like this on the back? (obviously you would highlight the name Valkyrie instead of Wisconsin)

And this on the front? (again highlighting the Valkyrie name not the state)

This with just the maidenhead on the back, work shirt in XLT. Non neon would be even better.

There, my order is in.
However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.

I tend to agree with Jim's opinion above.  But, I'm just not into Tee Shirts, for me, a Tee shirt is worn underneith a collared shirt.  Give me a collared shirt with a pocket.  Put a logo, on the shirt pocket or above it and make a classy shirt.  Sorry, I'm just not into wearing wild designs, I bought an Inzane Tee shirt and would most likely do so for the next Inzane but, really don't care about having a bunch of wild Tee Shirts no matter what they are.

Or, a pic of Si with the slogan, "punch like a butterfly and sting like a flea"! The first time I heard that I laughed myself sillier than I normally am.

I've always liked a pic of the motor with wings and the word "VALKYRIE" sweeping like a comet coming out of the exhaust.
