A non Valk fender rack, made to work...

I saw an ad in the classifides about a week ago, for a 'Solo Fender Rack', but for an Ace 750.  Looked at the pictures, and decided I could make it work.

The front and rear mounting holes, on the Ace, use one bolt on each end.  The Valk uses two on the forward side, and one in the rear.  Here is how I got around that (two strong metal tabs, crossed over the front mount, and tightened down)...



This shows how the drivers seat covers the ugly method of attaching the front of the rack...



Just want to say a big thank you to fellow member 'signart' for the very fair price (south of $60, delivered, and in the original wrapper!), and the smooth transaction

I like that BD.  I may have to try that.  I like to ride set up for solo and that is a nice bling.  Did you already have the leather?  I ride with a Corbin saddle but still think it would cover the attachment.

I just bought a solo fender rack made for the Valkyrie last week, and it was well NORTH of $60...    Nice job!
