It looks great, hard for that color not to look great. Is that thing going to allow you
to haul your O2 tank around or something? More riding = more better

It also looks like it's been raked a lot more than my sidecar rig was. Mine ,I think was 4.5.  How many degrees on the triple tree,  RJ?

And yes, my question is the same. Are you going to be able to ride it any distance with Co2?

Overall, it looks much nicer than your other trike but then again..........

Harley, it was a whole lot cheaper than a Valkyrie trunk and I never did like the looks of the Valk I/S trunk on a Trike.    

Figure I can carry at least 3 tanks in the rear along with luggage and the one in use will be in the HD trunk.

Only thing I got to work out now is where to haul a concentrator for my CPAP.  My supplier said I should be able to find someone where I'm stopping to supply the concentrator.    So got my fingers crossed on more miles, more wind and hitting another IZ.

It is a 6* tree.     Steers with one finger.......   Yeah, talk about power steering, this has got it.

I can fit 3 little tanks in the trunk.    That would be 15 hours of steady riding. If I can locate a O2 supplier at the destination and have them keep me supplied with O2 tanks to carry, when not in the room, I should be fit to go for a few days without any problem.    They can also supply the concentrator for use in the room and at night on my CPAP, so that would be covered.    Return home would be the same as getting there, little tanks in the HD trunk.

Looks great!!! I only see 2 things that need to be taken care of... 1. They need to put your police interceptor badges on the side covers or the sides of the trunk. 2. MGM has no balls any more!!!!!!!! Tell 'em you aren't paying them unless they get MGM's balls back hanging in their place of prominence!

I have the Interceptor badges in my office.   The balls are in my garage.   Waiting to see where I can mount the balls.

Looking real good there bud. I had a problem driving my friend's GL1800 trike, felt too squirrely on the steering. As a result I'm wondering if I want to go that route myself, guess I need to drive a couple different versions. I do like the looks of that HD trunk in back, very sharp. I adapted an '82 GL1100 trunk to my Valk, holds just as much as the I/S and looks better....for less money.

I'm very pleased to see you do this conversion, RJ.  I couldn't help but notice the mileage on MGM hasn't changed very much lately.  Perhaps this will give you some inspiration to take the ole boy out of the barn a little more often. 

Notice I said 'ole boy' and not 'fat girl'.  It's hard to consider MGM a fat girl once I saw his testicles.

I got to find a place to hang em from before the wife finds I have them back on him.

I have caught more crap over those damn testicles in the past year.   Daughter-in-law made the comment to the wife that she hated them.   It was basically to just stir the wife up, and she took her to heart.   No matter how much chatter we put up, she no believe us...........   She did tell me if I put em back on she was not riding with me again.    Told her to each her own, that started WW IV.

What brand trike conversion is that?

Road Smith from the Trike Shop in Mpls.   Independent suspension, big long heavy driveshaft, hubs, rotors, out side of the pumkin are VW off the shelf parts.

Rearend I think they said it was a 10 bolt Chevy.     I'd have to verify that again.

No cutting and welding, all bolt on without modifications.

David, in my book this is the only kit on the market worth the $$$$$.

It is a all independent rear suspension.    I've ridden both a straight axle and this unit.     Personally, I wouldn't waste my $$$$$ on a straight axle.

Not to highjack the thread, but John S. mentioned he had a 82 GL100 trunk on his. I have a reconditioned 82 trunk that is in like-new condition that I decided not to use if anyone need one. Hef

I need to extend the rear of the Viking's by 10".

No modifications required for this unit.    It is all remove and replace with the kit, straight bolt up.    In fact, the pipes did not have to be removed to install the body.
