Heading out of town for work today, took a little different route to get up into this area and found myself on highway 421.  This is coming from off of Highway 90 near China going up toward Lumberton.  The road appears in very good shape two Lane stretch all the way very light traffic and quite a few twisties actually in some places. Might've actually found a new travel route for some of my weekend rides.

It's a good ride, but soon you'll be in Lumberton before you know it. It actuall starts about 3 or 4 miles north of Sour Lake off Hwy 326. I like to start in Lumberton, then at the end you can head north into Kountz or other good roads into the Big Thicket from there. Yall call the time and I'm in should anyone choose to ride. There are plenty of roads in the Thicket, Lake Livingston or Toledo Bend area from there.

If you are riding  and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

Up arround Point Blank on highway 156 is Porkchops Icehouse is good place for a cold beer and they have great food. Only about 2 miles south of 190 on the west side. 156 down to coldsprings and 150 to 2025 thru davey crocket natl. forest to cleveland 1010 to plum grove road and 2100 back to huffman. All good roads.
