Front/rear wheel alignment

Just got my Valk back from having the two tires mounted and front fork seals replaced. Now I seem to be experiencing a "crab" in the alignment from front to rear. During straight & level riding it appears that the handlebars are now slightly cocked to the right. I called the dealer who did the work and he explained that since the rear is attached as a non-alignable fixture and that the front does not have any alignment adjustments, that it might not be an alignment situation but he is willing to look at it. I put a long straight-edge alongside the outer bead of the rear tire with the bike on level ground and as erect vertically as possible and it looks like the rear tire places the forward end of the straight-edge out to the right at the front wheel about 2 inches.
Any clues?

You just found out that most dealers don't know much about Valkyries...... Follow the instructions in shop talk for front wheel removal and installation and I'm bettin' your problem will go away.... It will not be necessary to remove the wheel just loosen all the bolts and torque in the proper order...

The front wheel CAN be misaligned if the triple trees are clamped when the fork tubes are not perfectly parallel.  Close one eye and move to a position that lines up the fork tubes and you will probably see they are misaligned.  You can also eyeball the triple trees, which will be misaligned when the fork tubes are misaligned.

I'm getting a new front tire today and will make sure they know about setting the axle first.
Getting work done always kinda makes me hinkey.

Also-being as they had the rear wheel off to-i would fer sure and certain recheck that rear wheel torquing sequence. In addidtion to all you've been informed about-missing the torquing sequence is not only dangerous it could get EXPENSIVE. Hope you either correct this yourself or stand there-after reading how-and watch VERY CLOSELY as they redo the work. RIDE SAFE.
