Anyone here have any experience with the Honda fat cat from the early 80's? I was still in diapers then, but saw one the other day and am intrigued.  May see if I can find one.

We had two of them about nine years ago and they are awesome, fun, go anywhere bike. we bought ours used and just did good maintinance on them. Paid $800.00 ea. rode them for 2 years and sold them for $1,000.00 ea. I think they were 1984 or 1985 models, they were white in color.

I know Road America race track still uses them. I talked to a guard this summer and he said about the same thing that they will go anywhere. Yamaha also made a fat bike like Honda. Saw one a few weeks ago and they where asking $1800 for it.

They used to have several three-wheeler classes at motocross races. A pack of them
racing over the jumps was pretty cool to see. Morley Safer decided they were too
dangerous to own, though...
