A couple months ago, I watched a couple sets of used original OEM's go for right at $700 a set.

If these go for lower, it might just be the time of the year when folks are paying bills and buying Christmas rather than getting in bidding wars and spending bucks on their bike.
I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

NIce....   Anybody know if these work with the trailer hitch as well or if things are push out too far as a result of the hitch?

Which knockoffs? MC Enterprise?

I never did see a a good way to use them when I had a hitch doc hitch on mine. I even cut the connecting loop of the saddle bag mounts and added a spacer so that the bags would remain plumb and not be pinched at the bottom. Someone may have come up with a solution by now, I sold my hitch years ago.

How do you tell the diff?

Hoser

I can't tell the difference.  Pot belly biker makes them and sells the on ebay. He built them exactly the same as oem when they got scarce.    The MC enterprises are completely different, squared in the back, and mounted different.  I don't care for them.  Hoser

Do you know Pot Belly Biker? Does he know about the solo fender rack market potential?
Maybe they're hard to make? Bag rails don't seem easy...

Don't know him personally, I noticed the last couple sets on ebay were posted by someone else.  Hoser
