Been a Valk owner for about five months now...I've put a little over 10000 miles on her & she still puts a big old grin on my face every time I ride her....Gone fat & black...never plan on going back to a Harley....:)

That's awesome that you're having a great time with your Valk, Mallet. But don't put too many more miles on it without checking out your driveshaft splines/pumpkin, etc for proper lube-especially if you're not sure of when it was last checked by the PO.

Wow, 10000 miles in 5 months?  You will have all the "good" used up in it in no time.    :D

I've put on over 33000 miles since i bought it new to me 30 June 2010. IF it warms up enough i should be able to take her out tommorrow fer awhile. And just the thought of going for a ride puts the grin in place.  :cooldude: RIDE SAFE.
Today is the tommorow you worried about yesterday. If at first you don't succeed screw it-save it for nite check.  1964  1968 U S Navy. Two cruises off Nam.

geez, I'm in Northern Iowa and it's been plenty warm to ride. OK except for that little bit (entire turn) of dark ice on a highway turn that I couldn't make and had to jump the curb and do some off roading over to the other side of the grass island median before I got back on an adjoining road while on my way to work at 4:30am. But EXCEPT for that, been plenty warm.
