I'd been noticing some commercials were coming in with a reduced volume for the last month or so.  Not all but a lot of them.
Now I know why, lol.

I sure haven't noticed any change. The commercials still blow the wax out of your ears when they come on. Do they realize that "mute" buttons have been on remotes for at least the last 20 yrs. or more. I sure use mine....always.  :tickedoff:

Oh darn, now I won't be able to hear the ads when I take a leak.

I record almost everything I watch on T.V. and skip the commercials ...now to the point I can not watch regular T.V. ...Plus this shortens most programs by 20 minutes ...a bonous...

same here, I can record a football game and instead of 3 hours watch it in full in less than 1 hour by pushing the 30 second fast forward button after every play - works great.

I would some days be lost without the DVR recording shows and playing them back at my convenience or pausing live tv to do other things to come back 4-10 minutes or so later and pick up where I left off.

Went over to my ex brother in law fer supper last night. He had on colligate(sp?)wrestling. The announcers voice was just right. The commercials on the other hand were rattiling the windows.  :2funny: RIDE SAFE.

I'll believe when I (don't) hear it.

I mute all commercials.... even at other people's houses.  LOL
