the gathering of the valks was today in Florida

there were a bunch of valks and a couple non valks that were more then welcome. met a few new faces and saw some old ones that I'm dang glad are still around (John-TJ). met a couple of folks that are local to my area, we need to hook up  and the weather was fantastic, although abit cool to start   the food at 4 rivers BBQ is tasty.

as a friend from the Florida board once said "bring it! let's eat"

Yes Joe, I'm putting together a PhotoBucket slide show soon as all the pics are posted on the Fla. board. I'll save them and add them to the same file then post it. May not be until tomorrow. You can tell by the pictures that the weather was absolutely perfect. Started out kinda nasty; wet and foggy in many areas, but cleared up early and was beautiful. Temps in the upper 70's-low 80's, we'll try to order the same stuff for your ride down. Rick and Kristie told me about you guys coming down, weather permitting. I plan to run up to their place for the fish fry just before you head home. Hope to see ya then.

Lookin' forward to ridin' down that way...If its cold here we'll ride anyway....If it's cold and pourin' rain or snow then we'll pass     They claim next weekend the low's in the lower 20's and not getting out of the 30's for high's....Weather can do amazing things with these Smoky Mountains all around us and the ride is still 11 days out.....Fingers crossed

I'll throw a few pics here. Nice meeting you Tom, wish we could have chatted more. I think a good time was had by all. Good food, good company. Thanks to John and Rita for hosting us all at their home. There is just something about "Valkers"!!
