Some of you might remember I lost a daughter(age 54) to cancer in April this year. She had been a teacher for nearly 30 yrs., most of it in the lower grades because she dearly loved working with the little ones. The comment below was made on Facebook by her niece and it brought tears to my eyes. My daughter's name was Todd, hence the "pet name" you see below.

"The only thing bringing me comfort for all the kiddies in CT today is I KNOW my Aunt Toodie is now able to be a teacher again and bring each and every one of them under her wings. Keep them smiling and having fun, Miss you ♥"

This will bring a tear to your eye:

Sandy Hook Elementary Students Have Gone Home

'Twas' 11 days before Christmas, around 9:38
When 20 beautiful children stormed through heaven's gate
Their smiles were contagious, their laughter filled the air
They could hardly believe all the beauty they saw there
They were filled with such joy, they didn't know what to say
They remembered nothing of what had happened earlier that day
"Where are we?" asked a little girl, as quiet as a mouse
"This is heaven." declared a small boy. "We're spending Christmas at God's house"
When what to their wondering eyes did appear
But Jesus, their savior, the children gathered near
He looked at them and smiled, and they smiled just the same
Then He opened His arms and He called them by name
And in that moment was joy that only heaven can bring those children
All flew into the arms of their King
And as they lingered in the warmth of His embrace, one small girl turned and looked at Jesus' face
And as if He could read all the questions she had
He gently whispered to her, "I'll take care of mom and dad."

Wow, Between John and Duffy's posts it feels like I got something in my eye and my screen is getting a little harder to see.  :'(

Be polite. Be professional. But, have a plan to kill everyone you
meet.

If you recall my daughter Toni that did all the posting when I had my heart attack in July....it's her oldest daughter. Beautiful girl(gets her looks from mom), will be 21 in January I believe. I have seventeen grandchildren and eight great-grands so I have a hard time keeping up with b'days.  :D She's a sweet gal, really broke her up when she lost her aunt earlier this year.
