Here's a countdown clock to the Mayan end of the world.  Unless you want to sleep through the end of the world, you might wanna set your alarm clock a little early on Friday so you don't miss it.   ;)

i'm not 100% sure, but wasn't it in the book "hitch hikers guide to the galaxy" where the world is predicted to end, and seconds before it ended jesus shows up and say's "well i'm here!" then boom!  it's all over??  i vaguely remember seeing that as a child on PBS (the big bird channel)....

anyone else remember that?

If ya look at the whole thing, the Mayans never said WHO the world was gonna end for.  As long as someone kicked it today the Mayans were right. :-X
