Sen. Feinsteins Bill to ban "Assualt Weapons" to be Introduced Jan. 3

Saw on MSNBC this AM.  She said she had been working on it for over a year.  Bet she was just waiting for something like this to happen.

They had quotes from it. 

It would ban " ALL semiautomatic rifles and pistols capable of accepting magazines holding more than ten rounds"

That would ban ALL semiauto pistols that I know of.  And, most semiauto rifles.

What say you, those of you who said the dems were NOT going to be going after guns after the election?  Sure sounds like it to me!

No.  If the gun can accept a big mag, then the gun is outlawed.  ie, Colt 1911 semiauto.  Sure, put a 10 round mag in it.  BUT, it is CAPABLE of accepting a 20 round mag, therefore, the gun ITSELF is outlawed.

The law would outlaw all semiauto pistols, and MOST semiauto rifles.  Any magazine fed gun is CAPABLE of accepting a bigger mag.

In a way I'm glad she's introducing such an extreme bill. If it was a more restricted bill some otherwise sane people MIGHT accept it as reasonable, but being completely insane like it is this should rightfully get laughed right out.

To have A license means acknowledgement that the item licensed can be taken away from you and  that it is NOT a  right

If a Tank has a license plate, you need a license to operate it on the open road as opposed to say

I beleive it also mentions that existing firearms that meet these stipulations (and it includes your grandpa's tube feed 22 if it holds more than 10 rounds, and it does) can never be transferred to another owner. That means, when you die they go to the government, not to your kids.

I pray this can't pass the house and I don't think it can.

I also think they are gonna keep stirring the flames in the hopes of inspiring more copycat killings to help their cause. If that seems extreme, look at the people that were killed and are still being killed in the Fast and Furious" thing which was also about "gun control" propaganda. If they hadn't gotten caught they'd be using it for propaganda right now too. As far as defending freedom, this country is in the fight of it's life right now.

As was said, join the NRA at the least. If you're a gun owner or just beleive in the Bill of Rights, these people have you in their sights.

Truthfully, the gun owners that voted for this guy deserve to lose their guns and their rights. Anybody with a brain could see this coming years ago if he was elected for a 2'nd term. But, be that as it may, the NRA will try to defend the rights of all of us, even those whose votes caused this.

I'd suggest those gun owners who drank the koolaid and voted to do this to us remember this the next time. "If the NRA says someone is after your rights, beleive it". We're a one issue group and don't give a damn what party a candidate belongs to. We just care about preserving our freedom.

I'd be willing to bet the armed security that protects people like Di Fi (along with most of the Ruling class) carry weapons that are not only capable but that do hold over 10 rounds. Typical liberal, protection for me but not for thee. Same for the mayor of NY.
