Yea, we need to do this more often.
I came home last night and the wife was all made up and dressed real nice.
There was Beef Strogonoff and peas with pearl onions in cream sauce for dinner and she greeted me at the door with a Beam and Coke.
I  didnt have the heart to tell her at the end of the Mayan calender it said, in Mayan,

I don't know about the rest of you but when I awakened this morning I looked around and surely enough there wasn't a Mayan in sight. 

Wonder whose calendar is next?   ???

Guess I slept through it all. Woke up to bright sunshine and cool temps...for us anyway. Everything seems unchanged; coffee smells from the kitchen and all my joints sound like a giant bowl of Rice Krispies on my first walk to the "reading room." The first look in the mirror is enough to set you back on your heels, but as usual I worked through it. So, after shaving and brushing my teeth(wife made me quit putting them in the dishwasher ), I ventured out to greet another beautiful morning.

Hope all is well in your universe, wherever it may be. Personally, I had no doubt as to the outcome of today's arrival. The Mayans did not know the time or day. Nor does any other mortal, and I'm good with that.

Still here on the West side.  Only thing I saw different when I rolled out was more more whiter on the ground.   Maybe this is what the other side  looks like.
