Comes in handy for gas and motels plus I'll be able to ride into Rick's driveway.The main reason I put it on was to snake us as far around Atlanta, Ga as we can get and still stay somewhat near a straight line to Florida.

Yeah this weather has become a issue the original plan had us leaving early in the morning and just f***ing off all the way making a nice two day ride through the country.It's possible we would ride into severe weather with possible tornados if we roll too early in the morning.

I didn't think the weather was going to stop you guys, when you three get together the good times will be had regardless of the weather, in fact it just makes it more of an adventure and makes for great story telling....have a safe trip and keep us posted on your ride to the sun so we can all enjoy it...

I've worked alot of tornado damage in my life but the closest I've ever been to one was on the way to " The Blue/Gray Ride " in Pa.....That should do me a lifetime for dealing with tornado's while ridin' my bike....We'll be hookin' up in the next month or two to scout the " June Ride " <<<<I'm just callin' it that till you come up with a cool ride name

Joe what time are you coming through? Most of the time the HOV (bike friendly) lane on 75 South is your fastest option . With that HOV lane it can make a big difference.

I just got off the phone with Wimp... they blasted off yesterday, rode until 8:00pm, hit some rain,
some snow (?), and two backups South of Atlanta, but they are near Macon now, and
will probably have a good and pleasant (50+ dry degrees) ride through the country side the
rest of the way there...

I talked to Flask a little while ago, and he was heading out to meet up with them to bring them on in. I wished I could have made that ride with them, but my hip is getting pretty bad fast. I go to the Doc on jan 30th about surgery. I hope to get it done & healed in time to make GOTF.
