Classifed replies

Anyone know why I can't reply int the classified section?
I'm logged in so that's not the issue.
Sorry if this has been covered b4 but I m still new on this forum.

PM is the only way to get with seller...I'm guessin' its that way so folks can't reply if they think someone is full of s**t asking that kinda of price, etc, etc.

Basically it's so the Classifieds section doesn't erupt into discussions.

One entry only so they remain succinct and people don't have to wade through a lot of extra posts to see the ads.  It also keeps the ads in placed sequence.

This part was well thought out. The last thing you need is 120 posts as to why your prices are too high. Selling too low, yeah some actually call you out on low prices.

Andy, look at the icons under the seller's ID,  there is usually an Email or Personal Message , PM, that you can use to contact the seller.

Ahem!  As I look at the moderators icons, there is NOT an Email Icon.

Oops! I guess I stand corrected.  The PM icon (looks like a cartoon quote bubble) should always be there.  The email icon (looks like an envelope) should be there unless the member has specifically chosen to hide his or her email address.

A PM should also result in a concurrent email to the member assuming profile options are not set otherwise.
