Of course Obama would/could use the executive order. 

He's been doing end runs around the constitution and congress for the last four years via executive order.......everything from pay raises for his bud Joe and congress (they've worked really hard ya know) to everything else under the sun via executive order. 

Why wouldn't gun control be any different?  Obama is the anointed one ya know and can do whatever the hell he wants.  He's been doing it for the last four years.

As much as I'd like to believe that, there is evidence to the contrary.  I hope you're correct but, I'm not confident in that.  Assuming Mr. Obama does go with an Executive Order, the only way I can think of to thwart that is for that E.O. to be challenged and go before SCOTUS.  Knowing it takes a very long time for cases to work their way through the system, most likely Mr. Obama will have the court stacked in his favor by  the time such a case would get there.  

Now, assuming Obama's Court agrees with him and says he can go around Congress which I presume an Obama appointed court would, we might as well start calling him King Obama cause we won't be needing Congress for anything from then on.  Hope I'm wrong but, that seems to be the way we're headed.

Edited:  This coorelation just occurred to me, Mr. Obama seems to be follow Putin's script.   I know that's a loose correlation but, think about it.

Hate to say it, but this could be the end of the USA.

It was obvious he would stop at nothing to disarm US citizens after the Fast and Furious thing. It bothered them not at all that LEO's and citizens alike died to further his anti-gun propaganda. The only thing that seemed to bother them was that they got caught.

Take heart in this - anything Herr Obama does with executive orders van be undone by his successor also with executive orders.  Any lasting change requires a congressional approval and that's not going to happen.  Meanwhile, support the NRA.  My concern is if the dickwad appoints any more liberals to SCOTUS - that can have lasting effect.  Copycat events are ramping up - the more the sickos get news coverage, the more sickos that attracts to repeat the carnage.  You can be pretty sure, the hypocrites in Hollywood won't own any of this, or stop pushing it on the kids via movies and video games.  It's all the Republicans and evil gun lobby's fault.
