A box showed up today with my Talisman tank bib. Had to replace the old Iron Horse

because it wouldn't work with the ultimate king seat. Glad I went with this one it is

sharp. For the first time I've bought something and didn't second guess if I could have

found one better. I don't think I could have.  :)

Great looking bib. I have a hopnel on now, and another new one in the box

Former BMW Guy

Looks great.
I'll be in the market for one come spring.

Talisman (i forget his name) was at the Calgary bike show last week as he always is.

My buddy bought a set of crash bar chaps ................ excellent quality!!  :cooldude:

That is sweet.  I've got the one with the smaller pocket on it from Talisman.  When I bought mine, he didn't offer the larger pocket version.

I might have sell mine and upgrade to that one with the larger pocket.   :cooldude:
I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

Can't say enough enough good things about Talisman quality. The stitching where the gas cap cover attaches had come undone, and Scott said to send it back. I got the resewn one today, and am very happy to have it back. Fit & finish are so far superior to the other bibs I've had in the past. Scott rocks!

Gavin_Sons

Ok you guys talked me into it, im going to order one with the big pouch. Looks alot better than the 2 I have now. I mainly store my wallet and sunglasses in mine. Sometimes the mp3 player on longer trips.

There you go ........... thanks for posting the picture!!

I'm the worlds worst with names ........... I'll do my best to remember for next years bike show.
I told him I was a member here and that every time "Talisman" is mentioned on the site that I've seen, the comments are always positive. I think that's partially why my buddy bought the chaps. Then again, having the goods right there in your hands and seeing how well they are made doesn't hurt!!
Scott had a good laugh when I told him I'm new with the Valk and that I thought I had found a treasure when I got a brand new Hondaline bib with a pocket hardly big enough to hold a credit card.  ;D

I wish the bib the OP posted would fit a "Standard" ............... I'd get one.

At the risk of sounding stupid, is that Terry on the far left and Scott the 4th one from the left--with the slightly gray hair? ;0

Timbrwolf The Iron Horse was the 2 pocket. It was where the front of the seat would be on the

bottom pocket. The ultimate king big boy come's up pretty far on the tank. I actually couldn't get the

seat on the bike. I wonder if the other sizes of ultimate seat's come up that far.

Karen I agree the quality of their product is unbelievable. I sent Scott a email to tell

them that. I'm 48 year's old and always second guess thing's I buy. But not this time.

Top notch product with top notch service.  :cooldude:

Wow ............. am I observant!!

I had it in my head it wouldn't fit cause the guy I got my Valk from also has an Interstate with that bib on it and he said it won't fit due to the tank size ............... or something like that.

Mr.BubblesVRCCDS0008

I got one for Christmas for my interstate with the large pouch and the gas cap cover and couldn't be more pleased. Good product and great people.

I got one of the first large pocket tank bibs. Was so impressed I got another one studded for the stable mate. Still love them and incredible quality. Also great service from a good guy.

As a matter of fact, if you go to the Talisman website, you'll find that the large pouch is for the Std and Tourer. The IS bib is still with the small pouch, unless the website is not up-to-date.

I was just at the Ultimate Store at Destination Daytona last week. THe man running the store (not Des) told me the BigBoy And King were the same right up the the rise at the rear of the seat. Where the BigBoy has a more vertical incline, the King is more gently sloped, giving more room to move toward the rear of the saddle. He told me the covers were identical right up to the seam by the incline. So, if the King BigBoy has an issue, the BigBoy should also.

Hey, I'm just saying that is what I was told when I went there to buy a back rest. They should know.

...Thanks...I have the Honda "Aftermarket" seat for my State right now..bought it new with the bike for around 250, which was a steal even back in 2001 as its has studs and concho,s on it...but after 12 years the padding in the drivers seat is going soft and the leather is looking worn....Im thinking on having it redone by a guy down state. Ive seen his work and I like it, I just really dig Des wolf embroidery work..  :cooldude:

And one with the ultimate on without the bib.

concho,s for around 250 back in 2001....I added the Utopia backrest and studs..  8)

They didn't show the large pouch for the interstate but a phone call was all it took to get the large pouch and the cap cover for my interstate.
