got DUPED on craigslist

found a really good deal on another Vstrom on craigslist in vegas last week.. was coming down anyway for the vintage mc. auction plus i bought a russian military sidecar for my other
strom and am piicking it up here in vegas.. had sent a postal money order for a deposit for the strom. got a text this morning saying he wouldnt be delivering it because it got stolen this morning... now i can get thru to the guy.. this is prolly gonna get ugly.. i shoulda known better but he sounded legit,,  ..

You can do an inquiry on a postal MO to see if it's been cashed or not. Other than that they're just like money. That's why I always told people to fill them out before leaving the post office. Lose a blank postal MO and it's like dropping cash on the ground.

Furthermore you state that everyone is someone to somebody seeming to assert that NO ONE doesn't exist.  If that's the case, NO ONE, not existing, could not possibly care thus causing you to lose the bet.

I actually took you for the grammatical, unambiguous meaning of your offer and that is a wager on your part that not one person cares.  At that any one person caring would cause you to lose the bet meaning that even if Tom (Clark) cares you lose the bet.

If you were attempting to apply grammatical trickery saying it was "NO ONE" you were offering to bet, you porked that option up by including the term you without a comma.

Don't bother sending me the $50.  Just make a contribution to the VRCC and it will suffice.

got the check back.. supposedly some high school kid jacked the ignition and stole it.. cops spotted him later that afternoon and gave chase.. kid crashed without a helmet and totalled the bike.. havent seen the bike or a police report so all i know at this point is the check was returned and the guy is a used car salesman.. my guess is since he sold it for about $2500.00 less than it was worth he accepted the deposit and then since the ad remained on craigslist he got a better offer but didnt have the guts to tell the truth and wasnt a man of his word. has a baby and house is for sale.. prolly needs all the $$$  he can get..
