Guys, I am looking for some information about changing the head bearings on an interstate. I know there are some pretty good step-by-step instructions on other topics but can't find this one. Help please.

I'll be anxiously awaiting for the replies to this post Paul.  It is something I need to get done on my I/S also.  Just put new seals on the forks a few weeks ago, now I got to tear it all apart again.

Its pretty straight forward in the manual. The lower bearing is the worst to get out. I used a threaded rod with a nuts and washer to pound the bearing out. I had to put a good size taper on the washer to get it to fit on the bearing right. New goes in easy. torgue, chech, torgue, repeat several times. I suggest to recheck the torgue after a few hundered miles. Take the front wheel off to do this.
