....And come to Colorado. I think it's about time we start talking bout motorcycles, and some FUN PLACES to go this spring. For example here this spring, on May 31 - June 2, in Telluride Colorado is having their 30th annual hot air balloon fest. And on June 14 -15th, in Frisco, Colorado, is the states largest BBQ challenge with 60 teams. Everyone loves BBQ right?????  So come on, lets here whats goin on in your neck of woods, and maybe you'll see me there!!!!!!!!!!!

We have had some great riding weather for a few weeks now on the Front Range of Colorado, I rode last weekend and yesterday. Today is another great day. Maybe not as warm as Florida but mild.
BBQ in Frisco in June sounds great! :cooldude:

I love riding in Colorado.  Such a beautiful state.  Like a giant roller coaster for motorcycles. Hot air ballon festival might be fun.

Just smoked up 3 racks of baby backs yesterday.  Love that mesquite and the steam-smoke indirect method.  Pour on some Sweet Baby Ray's and you know you've got ribs! YUM!

Been riding pretty much every day for weeks now.  Sometimes need to grab the electrics but most of the time lately, just a light jacket & gloves is enough.  If I'm not home by dark - then I'd BETTER have the electrics.  Temps drop fast after sundown with clear skies, thin dry air.

I prospect here even in Michigan. Found placer gold in small quanities and would love to mine out there. I could do that with a pan and small sluice and the Valk.

Gee, I donno. I seem to post most all of my rides whenever I throw my leg over the scoot. I hesitate to think that I may be diluting the political stuff with my overt motorcycling chit chat but I guess one must do what one must do. 8)

Mid Winter Gathering in Texas

All are welcome.  Realize it is early in the year, but if you can ride, come on down.  Surely it will be nicer weather and warmer than where you are.  (Hope I have my bike back together by then.  Suffering from that dreaded northerner disease called PMS).

Bring it, let's ride.

Dates are firm for the fourth weekend in February.

Ride in Friday the 22nd, ride planned and Wild Game Dinner on Saturday the 23rd, head back home on Sunday the 24th.  www.dswildgamedinner.com

Ten rooms blocked at the Heart of Texas Motel.  Blocked under VRCC.  Most downstairs but a mix of smoking and non-smoking on ground floor.  Rate is $60 plus taxes.  Phone: 512-892-0644

Heart of Texas Motel
5303 US Hwy 290 West
Austin, TX  78735

Get your rooms and plan ahead.  Hopefully we can have a nice weekend by then.

That's exactly the kind of road I hate to ride and we have them in abundance around here. They usually follow railroad tracks.

Well then, here's a different kind of road from the other end of the country.
