There is some good eatin' on the first 2 pics, great eatin' on the pic you're missing !  :)  The only pork running thru the woods up here is one that got away from the Mennonites.

First part of June last  year I cked the camera in the swamp just to see what was there...Pulled the chip and took it home. Low and behold there was a  coyote with a fawn in its mouth still alive. I killed the coyote 2 weeks later chasing another fawn. Its war! With the EHD taking a good share of our herd we need to keep all we can. I have 378 acres and I have a goal of killing all the coyotes I can see..

Chris....Looks like some really good property you have to hunt on....am jealous!

Well....I did put a little venison in the freezer this year so I won't starve.

Took a doe about twenty minutes after this one walked out.
Took another doe earlier in the season. Will see if I can dig that photo out. We had three on the buggy that morning.

Yep, here it is. That was a good November morning.

Nice, Probably the worst season I've had since I can remember. I usually kill a nice buck with the bow then a good one with my muzzle loader or shotgun. None of it happened this year!

Well Pappy......you are welcome any time if you are up in the panhandle.  Its not big but its got great location.  My wifes son wants the deer.  I want the hogs, if they will ever come back.

Pappy!

I understand! The long time friend I hunt with up in 'Bama also has a place down in Ft. Pierce. Normally a ton of hogs on the property but it has been so dry they have moved on as well.
The swamps and creeks on the property I hunt in 'Bama are dry except for small pockets of water.

Patrick

Be careful Pappy, your tires bleedin'.

I am so excited that our little plot of land has brought in so many critters.  Now that I can get out and hunt again, we are going to be eating off the land soon.  The faster we get good at surviving off nature the better IMHO.  Oh, and you should have seen the funny looks I got from my neighbors as I stepped out of the truck decked out with my two revolvers and hunting knife.  Its a sight folks arent used to in our little quiet neighborhood.  They will get used to it....LOL

Wait till I build my outdoor cooker this spring big enough to cook a whole deer or a couple Hogs.  The smells we will smell

Hey maybe even a Valkyrie ride in to help celebrate the feasting!

Skinhead

Post the details, we'll be there if we cab make it.
