I am replacing my NC 2-up with a "Chopped" NC Switchblade.
I have the option of the clear or tinted version.
I am on the fence post and wanted to get opinions on the pro's and con's of both before I make the purchase.

Thanks!!

Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous.
It is however, extremely unforgiving of: inattention, ignorance, incompetence or stupidity.

Mine is clear at the top and a blue "crunched glass" look at the bottom.  Not sure if that's how it was supposed to be but it's not the tint bubbling and the plexi isn't actually broken or cracked.  I haven't noticed any pros or cons (since I have nothing to compare it too) but I don't notice any glare off the road (if that helps..lol).

I  had a tinted windshield on my batwing it looked cool but it sucked at night. Cars coming towards me caused glare was hard to see at night. Trying to see in pitch black conditions, watching out for deer and other animals. I went to clear. I cut down my tinted so I could just see over the top and it still does its job.

Mine's a tinted Clearview on a black 2K/IS. It's 2 or 3 inches shorter than stock so I can see over it (I'm 6').
I love it! Think it jus makes the look ya know.
It kinda depends on how you're using it. If I had to look through one then I wouldn't have gone tinted.
Mine's pretty much jus to deflect some wind & bugs. Couldn't stand lookin' through the factory clear, even though it's in pretty good shape. Too much glare/distortion in the rain or dark.
Peace, Whiskey.

I have a dark smoke on my b' wing for 3 yrs and all has been good. I look over it mostly. I think the dark helps with oncoming headlights myself.

Now you're in the world of the wolves...
And we welcome all you sheep...

Good feedback, guys!
I'm leaning more towards the tinted.
Probably order it Monday.
