Been a long while since I posted here but never forget my Valk's. It's about 4 years since I made the mistake of selling my Silver/Black baby and try as I might I just cannot get the Harley to be as nice a ride.
Came back to the US again last July August  for another...Trip of a Lifetime....but did not work out so well after getting knocked off bike in Canyonlands Nat Park in Utah...47 stiches in head and a smashed shoulder which was operated on in December and will be out of action for at least six months maybe longer...bugger. The woman driver admitted total liability and made all the ambulance and hospital costs. My own Travel Insurance gave me back the $1000.00 excess on the Hire Insurance, new HD Video camera, new Digital camera, new helmet and upgraded me to 1st Class when I came home. Can't work but here in New Zealand we have ACC which is a tax we all pay and covers us for accidents etc, it even covers tourists so you don't have to pay any medical costs and I get paid just under $1000.00 per week in compensation payments till I can get back to work.
Have put the matter in the hands of Lawyers in SanFrancisco so am awaiting the outcome of that....might be able to afford another Valk.
Does anyone know if Sheets is still in the club, I tried contacting him before comming over but had no luck.
Looking at another trip in 2014...may be able to pick up a nice Valk then...ride her and bring home like I did in 2007.

Hi, Rebyl.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune.  Glad you're still with us.

Sheets is still certainly a part of the VRCC family, but I'm not certain how often he visits the forum.

Sheets gave up his Valkyrie sometime back after it was totaled by the insurance company.  My understanding was that he wasn't seeking a replacement.

If you send him a PM he will either see it here or see it in his email.

He was logged in here yesterday.
